Tucked away and lacking anything of strategic importance, the valley has enjoyed the complete indifference of the rest of the world towards it; it is a peaceful, quiet, poor place, where people don't have a lot but they also don't go hungry.

One thousand years ago, O-Loro threatened to sail from the Burning Sands to conquer the world, so great mages work together to create a massive wall of water which surrounds the island, preventing any vast fleet from sailing out, and trapping O-Loro inside his own palace.
