====== Custom Everything ======
Rather than having pre-built classes or prescribed flavor, Kamisekai **encourages** characters to stylize their moves and move sets.
This section describes the right way to do that for the sanity of the DMs.
===== Move Flavor =====
Does the name of a move not fit your style? Maybe a little bland? Or maybe a little too spicy? Change it!
You can **rename** any move you want, but it's **strongly** recommended to keep the original name of the move beside it.
For example, if you wanted to name the move **Assassin** something else, the following forms would be acceptable in your sheet.
Murderer (Assassin)
Murderer [Assassin]
Murderer / Assassin
It's also acceptable to omit the original name, but should be avoided unless you don't mind irritating your DM a little bit, getting asked what the move is now and again, or having trouble remembering what the original move was called.
You can also **change move descriptions** as long as you do not change **the resulting behavior**.
For example, the move [[might moves#unbreakable|Unbreakable]] could be:
Thicc Skin [Unbreakable]
Alycia thickens up her skin when threatened. It's super effective against non-magical, physical damage. Roll+Might.\\
10+: Choose 2:
7-9: Choose 1:
* Reduce damage taken by half, rounding down.
* Ignore the attacks additional effects besides damage.
* Do your damage against the enemy.
==== Move Sets / Builds ====
Kamisekai permits - and encourages - players to swap perks or moves as they'd like (outside of games). For this reason, some players may find it useful to keep multiple sets of moves, or **builds** under the same character sheet. Builds often include sets of complementary moves that focus on specific tasks that the player may want to concentrate on in that game or campaign.
Just keep track of how many moves/perks you have unlocked, replace the moves section of your sheet with one or more drop-downs, giving each build a name.
Before you start the game, make sure to inform the GM which build you are using.
==== Custom Moves ====
You are welcome to create custom moves in Kamisekai, but you must adhere to the rules written in [[Debug Mode]], and of course, get the consent of your GM.
